Educational Storytelling in Your Classroom

Book educational storytelling workshops and programmes from Carl Merry Talespinner. Backed by extensive teaching and education experience, I provide a variety of school workshops and programmes for both students and teachers. I have visited many schools in Essex and beyond, with great success in both telling stories and conducting workshops. Having worked with the Essex Schools Advisory Service, I am always willing to discuss ideas for projects with teachers and offer linked English work based on my story sessions. Get in touch today for more information.

What I Offer

When I visit a school, as well as telling a selection of tales from my repertoire, I often work with children and help them to create their own stories. I frequently use some of the stories I have been telling for many years as a starting point for newly created written or oral stories, or to create oral retellings of the tales.

As well as educational storytelling sessions, I offer English work linked to my visit and storytelling workshops for both pupils and teachers. Visits can be structured to fit in with themes already being explored in the curriculum, or specific project work can be undertaken.
